Its all for the retailer

High-quality jewelry at value prices sounds like a dream come true. It is, in fact, for Preston Foy – and maybe you too.

Even before his four years as national sales manager at Stuller Settings and 10 years as national director of the Diamond Promotion Service, Foy dreamed of proving that high quality doesnt have to come at a high price.
After leaving DPS, Foy formed a partnership with Val Fawley and Mike Romanoff of Val Castings Co., Bucyrus, OH, and launched Allure Designs Ltd.

They tested a line of products through Val Castings. The jewelry proved to be so popular with sales associates (who bought much of the field-test jewelry) that retailers began to ask for a full line even before it was ready for distribution, says Foy.

The Allure line now features German-made platinum, gold, two-tone and diamond earrings, slide pendants and rings retailing for $200 to $500. The jewelry is designed to complement the latest apparel fashions. "The beauty of this product is it is cutting-edge, upscale and fun – with exceptional price points," says Foy.

The company promises immediate delivery and offers a turn-key program representing the best sellers. "We know how challenging it is for the independent jeweler today," says Foy. "Our mission is to form a partnership with the independent jeweler, meet margins and have fun doing business," says Foy.

Foy will promote the Allure lines at major trade shows and through direct mail, telemarketing and sales representatives.
